One of the big producers also. The man was involved with many outstanding records like Cloud One. He also wrote "Material Girl" for Esther (TAFKAMadonna).
"Love in our hearts" was excellent too.

Johan: There are actually two Peter Brown's from the Disco era. The Peter Brown e-funk speaks of is white and did the material on TK like "Crank It Up" while the other Peter Brown is black and worked with Patrick Adams on stuff like Cloud One.

We're learning every day-I know the Peter, E-Funk is speaking of very well but I really thought he was the same guy as the Cloud One producer. But he did write for Madonna, didn't he?
I also think there are two Bernies when I see all your hobbies, too much for 1 person :D
There's the evil Bernie and the good Bernie :-)Originally Written by Videoskooter
As for the "white" Peter Brown writing for Madonna, the disco-disco interview says yes.

I actually liked his 1983 album Back To The Front - but mostly for the track "Baby Gets High". Heard it again a few weeks ago on Joe Causi's weekend show here in the NYC area...
Yep, Bernie, I re-checked it on a composers-site, it was written by Peter Brown and Robert Rans. Hope it's the same Peter Brown now. I also remember his song "Penguin", that's a strange one!
'Dance With Me'
'Burning Love Breakdown'
'Love In Our Hearts'
What would you do without your muesli...where would you be without a bowl?
Purely for dancing:
Dance With Me
You Should Do It (one of my wife's faves)
Crank It Up
plus Burning Love Breakdown (really something else)
I liked his style and he had a very individual sound (not a mean feat, eh?). However, he did tend to have too many turnarounds and breakdowns in his toons that could be a tad annoying if all you wanted to do was bop the night away.
Can't Be Love--Do It To Me Anyway
& Crank It Up (Funk Town)
& Baby Gets High too.
"Lost inside adorable illusion...."
Actually I'm very surprised that nobody else mentioned DO YOU WANNA GET FUNKY but myself.... :-?
nobody likes the instrumental party on the first break???
i remember crank it up,do u want to get funky with me,and dance with me......i remember having a hot tracks 2 record set that had a song by peter brown called they only come out at night...is that the same guy?
