Chic "Live At The Budokan" dvd

    Hi there.

I cant find a review of this DVD on this MB but would like some opinions from the Chic fans here who have this dvd.

Is the picture quality any good?
Is the sound quality any good?
Are the Bernard Edwards interviews on the dvd?

I know from the cd that the concert is great, I have been looking everywhere for this dvd but it's just not available anywhere here in the UK so i had to order it from Germany...I am so looking forward to this...I absolutely cant wait for it.

Also.........Can anyone tell me of any other Chic "Live" dvd's out there.

    Many Thanks

Best Disco in Town DVD with Chic & other bands

Yes, there's another DVD with Chic playing live on it: http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/.../discomusiccom THE BEST DISCO IN TOWN is available from Amazon UK.
On it Chic performs "Good Times", "Le Freak", "We Are Family", "I'm Coming Out", "He's the Greatest Dancer", "I Want Your Love", and "Dance Dance Dance". Recorded in 2003 - 7 years after the Budokan concert - so it's different.

Since this is a European release, it's PAL, of course. I want to get this one as soon as it's out in NTSC format. But you can enjoy it now, being that you're in Britain. Have fun!

Best Disco in Town - 2003

Different line up but the same good mix of CHIC classics. Nile's on guitar but not sure of the other 'cast'. I rented this DVD and am now purchasing a copy all for myself - this is pure 70s & 80s dance music at its best.

Still looking for the Live at the Budokan on DVD - anyone help me - please?????????

Yes there is a really good book, but Amazon still haven't shipped it to me yet and I really want to read it - it's entitled Chic: Everybody Dance - The Politics of Disco.

I can get that Chic item, but can't get the Budokhan DVD - help me someone before I go insane in the brain!!!!!!

Chic: Live at the Budokhan DVD

Yahoo - at last, it's available in the UK and Europe - released in March 2005 - the final concert featuring Bernard Edwards - a true classic concert with all the Chic grooves.

But why no publicity? - I happened across it by accident - after searching for months in vain!

Cheers Nile - now when's the next Chic album coming out - or can you get the Johnny Mathis album off the shelf and into the shops, or at least re-record the tracks that you wrote?
