Here's a new thread. Have you guys watched a music video clip from pop shows or promos that make you laugh your head off? If so what's the funniest you've ever seen? It can be of any genre of music.

For myself the funniest I've seen are:

Black Lace - Agadoo 1984 (All of the band members were dressed up as fruits and playing instruments and the funniest was the banana and the cherry which looks like a big red arse)

Painters & Dockers - Nude School (live on Countdown 1987) (This Australian group really made me laugh because in the Countdown studio there were a bunch of pig props on the stage and EVERYONE, the band members, the audience and even the technical and camera crew were wearing piggy noses OINK! OINK! OINK!)

The dancers dancing to Rick Dees "Disco Duck" on Top Of The Pops in 1976 (This clip was a real cracker because some of the dancers were dressed up in duck costumes which looked extremely dopy and they dance in a real funny way dressed in those dopy duck costumes, it's so damn hilarious)

Baron Nights - A Taste Of Agro (live on Top Of The Pops 1978) (They are a british group that do a megamix of parodies of some groups and did a parody of Leo Sayer's "You Make Me Feel Like Daning" throwing in lyrics such as "My pants are too baggy for me", and they did parody of Boney M's "Rivers Of Babylon" by having a dentist seen and with the "Ahhhh ahhhh ahhhh ahhhh" bits the guys have their mouths open ready for the dentist to look at and they go "Ahhhh ahhhh ahhhhh ahhh")

Johnathon King - One For You, One For Me (live on Top Of The Pops 1978)(A great disco song but is also funny because the band members are all wearing multicoloured clown afros)

Chris Franklin - Bloke (Australian parody of Meredith Brook's "Bitch") (I laugh at this clip every time because Chris is taking the piss out of the yobbo and as well as the lyrics being piss funny, the clip has a funny stuff happening such as Chris coming out of the dunnycan [Australian name for a portable toilet] and his yobbo mate going in and running out because of the bad smell, the bit where they dance around pissed, the bit where Chris and his yobbo mates were in a small kids pool drinking beer and his mates piss in the pool and get out leaving Chris, and the bit where one of the yobbos lay at the side of the road pissed with a beer bottle next to him)

All of the Weird Al Yankovic video clips He's done the world's funniest music videos and some highlights are:
Ricky 1983 (Weird Al dressed as Desi Arnez playing the bongo drums laughing)
Like A Sergeon 1985 (The bit where Al turns on the chainsaw and when he says "My patients die, yeah my patients die", they certainly would the way he operates hehe)
One More Minute (The bit when toilets rotate around Al and he sings "I'd rather clean bathrooms at grand central stations with my tong than spend one more minute with you")
Fat 1988 (When Al runs and goes "Whooaaa" and when he bumps and you hear the bounce sound effect)
Headline News 1994 (When the bloke goes to Singapore and sprays some guys face and gets caned by the warden, and the bit where this guys wife cuts of his old fellow and he searches the fridge for it and pulls out some hotdogs, and the bit where Al has tape across his mouth when going "Mmmmmmmmmmmm")
Gump 1995 (Weird Al takes the piss out of Forest Gump)
Amish Paradise 1996 (I love how Al takes the piss out of a Rabbis lifestyle being so primitive and the funniest bits are when they stomp on modern electrical stuff, the no signs for modern stuff like cars, electricity etc..., and the bit where the Rabbi churns the butter)

Hi Funky Dude, Just a 'correction' for you regarding the 'Amish Paridise' video. The gentelmen are not 'Rabbi's' (Elders of the Jewish faith) but are 'Amish'. The Amish males do not shave facial hairs. The Amish are also known as the 'Pensyilvania Dutch' (they aren't 'Dutch' but 'Duesch' -german for the word 'German'). Great post, it did bring back alot of memories!!! All the best, DJ Phil

Ok, here are 2 that come to mind which i own:

"Dont Nobody Move, This Is A Heist" - Tony Powers: This song is funny as **** to begin with with lyrics such as "shobby-do-wayoo-de-dooby-do-blahblahblahblahblah" amongs other things. Also, the video is supposed to be this crazy guy(Tony Powers) walking around NYC, hanging out with bums while singing the song, making out with maniquins, also, the most funniest part is there is a guy who looks like Bob Dylan at a hot dog stand and is about to eat his hot dog when Tony Powers comes up to him and starts singing the song looking at the vendor and then the next lyric he shouts and turns abruptly to the Bob Dylan guy and it scares the **** out of him and he throws his hot dog at the vendor as hes about to take his first bite case he jumped...imfaof, the lyrics he screamed were"YES!!!! YES I WOULD!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!", u just have to see it, hard to explain in words, the funniest damn thing i ever seen in a music video. Its from 1980. The video also has upcomming stars such as John Goodman and Treat Williams.

"N.E.W.S." - Golden Earring: Great track, just the video is unbelevable. The group is hardly in it at all and all these people are wearing masks that look like the band members and one picks his nose. This video has nothing to do with this song, i think it was more like, lets get a video out for this new single now so polygram dont get pissed.

Funniest video for me has to be Paul Jabara's "Ocho Rios". The plot is he's trying to sell the video to the management board at MTV - whilst in the video proper, he's wearing tropical drag and seducing a black bodybuilder!

I still think Twisted Sister's "We're Not Gonna Take It" is the funniest video ever, but you seldom see the entire thing.

Michael Jackson's "Bad" was also hilarious, but apparently not intentionally so...

Here's a couple of really funny clips to add:

Freddy & The Dreamers - Do The Freddy/I'm Telling You Now (Live on Ed Sullivan Show 1965 in B&W) (These clips are hilarious, they way the danced was so damn funny and Freddy jumping and going "WHOOOOOOOHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!". Their funny dancing actually bacame the silliest dance craze of the 60's and it was called "The Freddy".)

Have any of you guys seen those clips?

    Here's a couple more:

Sparks - This Town Ain't Big Enough For The Both Of Us (Live on Top Of The Pops 1974)
What was real funny about this clip was Ron Mael. The way he was dressed in office clothes with a rigid shoulders, his stubby moustache and the funniest of all his weird stares at the camera without blinking. Click here http://tv.cream.org/arktop2.htm and go to near the bottom of this website to where the sub-heading says "Weirdos" and underneath you'll see a pic of Ron Mael in that 1974 performance doing the funny stares. Hey jazz_pilgrim, seeing that you are living in England, do you remember watching that performance on Top Of The Pops back in 1974?

    The other:

Wings - Coming Up 1980 (Promo)
This one Paul dresses up as a number of famous instrument players including Ron Mael from Sparks dressed in office clothes, rigid and playing the keyboard. After seeing the Top Of The Pops clip "This Town Ain't Big Enough For The Both Of Us" watching "Coming Up" and seeing Paul taking the piss out of Ron by acting rigid playing the keyboard makes me laugh. Also Paul pulling those extremely happy faces when playing as these famous instrument players is also funny.

    How could I forget:

Jonathon King - One For You, One For Me (live on Top Of The Pops 1978)
The rainbow coloured clown afro wigs says it all, Jonathon and the girls look funny wearing them. Imagine if they slapped on clown makeup as well, the clip would be hilarious.

    Wow,
i've got to admit that i'm a BUSTA RHYMES fan, mainly because of his videos. They are always hyperactive comic styled videos, and busta's always making theses freaky-deaky moves. They really crack me out! Like that video for: Break ya neck.

Also worth checking out are these old skool hiphop tracks from way back in the eighties when Dr.DRE, ED LOVER, and FAB FIVE FREDDY presented Yo MTV RAP.
    Check them out on: http://dreamchimney.com/raps/
The way those Hiphop videos were made back then, when hiphop was not yet commercialised music as it is now, is very funny. Check out the golden chains, eighties costumes, addidas trainers and furry coats! Super!

The most unintentionally funny video? "Der Kommisar" by After The Fire. It contains every bad video cliche' of the time: unnecessary slow motion, an anorexic model in lingerie breaking a glass, etc. The "highlight" are those CLOSE-UP shots of the fellow who looks like Miguel Reyes from the Gypsy Kings: the shots are taken from an inferior POV so you have the joy of looking straight up his nose and counting the hairs....AAAAAAHHHHH! It really is worse than "Bad".
I liked the uncensored Doug and The Slugs videos for "Making It Work" and "Too Bad"....they are just a funny-looking GROUP!
I'm a big fan of "British Invasion" groups, and I remember the actual appearances of Freddy and The Dreamers on Ed Sullivan. Freddy Garrity was actually a decent singer, listen to his vocals on "I'm Telling You Now". Unfortunately, "Invasion" groups such as Freddy and The Dreamers and Gerry and The Pacemakers are now regarded as fluff, even though their music was well-crafted.
