I'm probably way off here but I was thinking about "Johnny Come" by Five Young Cannibals for # 4. If there's also a muted trumpet in this song, it's most likely the one though.
I just know the chorus and bits and pieces of these songs.
Song #1
"I'd be good for you, good for you", that is how the song starts and it is repeated many times thereafter
Song #2:
"Follow me....follow me....you and me....come on follow me"
Song #3:
"YOu're my inspiration...You're always on time...you always blow my mind"
Song #4
"Johnny, johnny, johnny, johnny" and then right after the last Johnny I can't make out the words
More upbeat eurodisco sound for Song #5
"Na, na, na the boys...girls. Na, na, na the boys and girls"
If anyone can help with these I would truly appreciate it.
Thanks

Maybe the first one is Quincy Jones from his 'Back On The Block' LP.
What would you do without your muesli...where would you be without a bowl?
#2 could be Follow Me by Aly-Us.
Follow me, why don't you follow me
To a place, where we can be free.
#1) "I'd be surprisingly good for you" by Festival (Disco Evita)
#2) "Follow me" by Amanda Lear
#4) "Johnny, Johnny" by Claudja Barry
These are just shots in the dark. It might help, if you can be a little more specific (female/male vocals, etc.).
#1, maybe René & Angela : "I'll be good".
#5 sounds like Michael Bow "One Shot So Hot"
#1 could be Brass Construction - Give and Take, but probably isn't.
I just want to say thanks for everyone trying to help me out with ID'ing these songs.
Just to further clarify, and I can't believe I forgot this before, all 5 songs I am trying to find are being sung by FEMALES. So hopefully this helps.
I will go and check out those records and see if they match up to what I heard on the radio.
Thanks again.
#1 sounds like "I'll be good to you". by Brothers Johnson
Yes, Brothers Johnson, but as another posted noted, I think too it's on a Quincy Jones album too.Originally Written by tomthumb
#3 sounds alot like "You're my Magician" by Lime.
"You're inspiration, your always on time, boy you're on my mind...
You're my Magician...tell you anything, you make it every day.."
