    Fatback/ Rimshots similarity

Has anyone else noticed how Fatback's 'Wicky Wacky' & the Rimshots 'Dancin Girl' are virtually the same song? On investigation I see that they were written by the same teams which explains the whole thing, but it's a bit naughty though isn't it? I s'pose nothing's original, eh?

I'm not posting as bona boy anymore cos nobody wants to talk to me. I'll go back to calling myself Steely Dan as soon as I can (had to call myself something different for technical reasons! )

This is too funny. Ya know, I've been noticing the Bona boy posts and thought the lad was quite amusing and, obviously, playing on my team--not that there's anything wrong with that. :P

But, without the past history involved....I never responded.

Some people post once and never return...so the Welcome Wagon greetings never take place.

And, for several months, I've been wondering what became of my "little sister." I thought maybe you'd been whisked away to "dust slings" on the Continent with Blame My Pecs!!!

This begs the question if you changed your "handle" would others know it's you?

Fantomas became Joisey and Graham nailed him....but the subject matter of his posts was probably what gave him away.

Apparently, the "banishment" has expired????? :o :o :o

Anyhoo, why did ya change the name? Steely Dan was a powerhouse 'round here. Always good for pithy commentary.

Blanche!! It is your one & only Sandy back but with a little nip/tuck! :P The reason I had to change my name was a very boring one I'm afraid. The laptop I always use had a cup of tea tipped all over it (the person shall remain nameless)& was effectively murdered in broad daylight  so I had to use my partner's pc & I found that I couldn't log onto this site using Steely Dan so after several weeks of feeling great frustration at reading the forum & not being able to contribute I took the reluctant decision to use a different name. I did toy with the idea of calling myself the 'artist previously known as Steely Dan' but thought it a little pretentious - what kind of fruitcake would do such a thing? I haven't been able to get my old laptop working (I'm such a technophobe!) but if I ever do, I'm going back to being Ms.Steely forthwith! It was much more fun.
I chose Bona boy 'cos 'bona' is polari (old school gay speak) for 'good' & I'm such a good boy. :-?
Anyway the upshot is that the bitch is back & my sling is well & truly dusted off once more. :P

    Steely,
I quite don't understand why you are not able to simply log-in as Steely :-? As long as you have a user name and password you can log-in from any computer. I do it when I travel. Are you saying you don't remember your password and therefore can't log-in as Steely? If that's the case simply click on the link that says forgot password and it will e-mail it to you. Has your e-mail changed as well? I unfortunately can not retrieve your password. Let me know and I'll see what I can.

Hi Bernie. I haven't forgotten my password & my e-mail address is the same. I deleted the cookies like you said before & that didn't work either! It's a complete mystery why i can't log on as Steely Dan. I do tend to have the opposite of the 'midas touch' when it comes to computers I'm afraid! :( As Shirley Bassey sang, 'if there's a right way to screw it up, nobody does it like me'!
