Love Boat Theme Disco Versions..how many?

I was wondering how many disco versions were made of the love boat theme in the 70s..these are the ones I know of:

    Jack Jones
    Charo
    Key Hano
    Spice
Frankie Avalon (never heard this one!)

Are there any others? Please let me know :D

Radar Specs. You wouldn't need anything over the hill then, 'cos you'd see right through to their wrinkly bits. If that didn't stop ya, nothing would. However, you might develope average joes with heavenly bods underneath posting syndrome. :P

Jimmy: No one has mentioned one version that I think is worth hearing (well, as much as any version of The Love Boat theme! :P ). It's called "House Boat (Love Boat Theme)" by DJ Richie Rich from 1996.

This remix takes the original Jack Jones version and adds a dance beat and pumps up the horns. What's great about this mix is that it doesn't screw too much with the original structure of the song, except for extending the instrumental breaks and adding some edits that repeat the word "love" over and over until the fade. The track clocks in at 5:56.

I found the song on a 1996 bootleg CD called The Unreleased White Labels 10. I don't know how easy this will be to find, but the label is listed as: "Hey Girrrl!, a division of You Go Mary! and Get This Queen a Cocktail Inc."

    Jimmy,
I can't believe you are listening to and like the "Love Boat Theme." Don't you know that the "Theme From CHIPS" by Corniche is the one to play 8) Cheesy as all hell, but fun.

Hey Bernie..the Love Boat is class, gotta love it  I love it I love it LOL...and also...the Corniche is another great one...even got the 12'' promo on Windsong (i'd sometimes play this when I've done private gigs in the past lol). One thing bout the Corniche record..there was on a comercial 45 (7'') an actual B side with another song...anyone familiar with it or could tell me what its like? Never heard it as the 12'' has the extended CHIP's theme on both sides :-?

Only have the promo 12 inch like you so I don't know any other of their songs. I would imagine it must also be instrumental.

Eek! I have that I.R.T. record listed in his discography. It's actually not bad if you like cheese. Interestingly, the flip side (if I remember correctly) is a mono recording of the original version of "Lullaby of Broadway" from the 1930s!

Speaking of cheese and Paul Anka (same thing??!), I recently found a 12-inch by Anka and Karla DeVito (Mrs. Robby Benson) from 1983 called "Gimme the Word." Really bad '80s synth schlock. This song makes that duet between Jermaine Jackson and "Lonely Lady" Pia Zadora sound good.

BTW, Jeff...did ya know that Paul Anka is Jason Bateman's father-in-law? I heard Jason
(Arrested Development") tell this on a chat show over the long, long weekend.

Jason says Paul carves the turkey while singing "special Turkey Day lyrics" to "My Way." Was he kidding?
    "Lost inside adorable illusion...."
