Mid-eighties dance/pop. I hear it often on one of my internet radio stations, but I have no idea who it is. Any ideas.
P.S. There are a few "Oh, Oh-Oh tonight, tonight"s in there as well.
Hi and welcome to this site. I'm sure you will realize pretty soon that this is a great place! Bernie and his friends have done a great job here!
By the way, you and I share the same profesion.
Ok, here is a possible answer: I remember a song called "Paradise" by a group also called "Paradise". I think these guys were from Europe, possibly Italy. That song had the lyrics you mention. I seem to remember a male vocalist; and a somewhat heavy, funky bass line.
Another possible answer is CHANGE. I have their greatest hits CD in my car and I can't verify it right now but I think either LOVER'S HOLIDAY or PARADISE have those lyrics.
I hope this helps. If it doesn't just sit back a few mnutes and one of these guys will give you the right answer before midnight tonight (and it is 10:34 right now!)
Hi Stuck--
(Can I call you Stuck for short?!)
The song you're asking about is "Tonight" by Ken Laszlo. It was on an Italian label, in the early '90s, I think.
