Ok, here is a possible answer: I remember a song called "Paradise" by a group also called "Paradise". I think these guys were from Europe, possibly Italy. That song had the lyrics you mention. I seem to remember a male vocalist; and a somewhat heavy, funky bass line.

Another possible answer is CHANGE. I have their greatest hits CD in my car and I can't verify it right now but I think either LOVER'S HOLIDAY or PARADISE have those lyrics.

The song you're asking about is "Tonight" by Ken Laszlo. It was on an Italian label, in the early '90s, I think.
