Bernie missed this one.
On the 5th (?) of July 2003 Fernando Arbex passed away from a long illness. Arbex was a musician and composer. In the 1960s he founded "Los Brincos" and later founded "Barrabas" for which he was the drummer and original lead singer. Barrabas put out such hits as Checkmate, Hijack, Woman, and Wild Safari.

Despite the animosity some of your constituents have for me over here (like I really care for irrationality and deviancy), you really have a great informational site here on respect to the genre of disco music. If it's true that you put all this together by yourself, this is a great accomplishment and a labor of love. Keep up the good work.
