Hey everybody... Have you heard the new Bee Gees album "Number Ones" yet. Everyone's been talking about it at work, here at Universal Music. I checked out their web site http://www.beegeesonline.com/ and I'm thinking about getting the album. Has anyone heard it? Is it worth buying? What's your opinion?

My opinion is: Tell your bosses to lower the prices on the "Funky Collector" series, release them domestically in the U.S., distribute them in adequate numbers so that if you don't buy them immediately you're not out of luck. :evil:

Good idea! I actualy just found out about these things and heard theres some good stuff being issued..however, im not gonna spend 30-40 bucks for an import CD when my vinyl is mint :D But, if the prices were domestic, id buy em

I know it's a matter of taste, but the BeeGees never, ever did anything at all for me. No soul at all. In my humble opinion, Disco's R&B and soul roots are what it was all about, especially in the heyday from '74 to '84.

ROFLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL nice pic linkin there man :lol: We must rephrase...there is an Incredible Hulk TV score out there..however, it's only the orchestral works and the 1 disco/funk track on it. So basicly what we want is the soundtracks to the episodes "Like A Brother" and "Alice In Discoland" in full, all the original music from the masters...so take that to your boss miss universal!

You work at Universal and you have to BUY a copy? What a cheap company!!! Don't they pay you for doing this? OMG, is the recordbiz in so much trouble?

Is there any other group or artist that you also like or do we have to wait untill your bosses release another compilation before you answer?
