"Lady, Lady, Lady" - Boogie Man Orchestra

Billboard lists this as "Lady, Lady. Lady."

Joel Whitburn's book adds (Theme From) and (Are You Crazy For Me?) to the title.

This begs the question...What was this a theme from? Movie or TV show? It was quite popular in mid-'75 and will actually hit the Top 10 in the charts I'm typing. I've read about it but have never heard it.

Also is it an instrumental or a vocal? Describe it to me, please.

this highly unusual instrumental has been around for weeks and has just become an americah hit and one of the most sought after disco sounds in the country all at once.pounding rhythm track is persistent enough to explain the disco interest but the sober piano front line leaves you bewildered.the barry white type strings are beautiful but youre left with a strange sounding record that has a haunting quality that could be sufficient to carry it over to crossover success. the vocal side features a barry white sounding gent who both sings and raps with gusto.look for left field success on this one*****

i was over at a northern soul site the other day- the topic crap looking u.s labels the first shout was boogie man records! i think this label is cute that clever FORRRCE threw up a scan here a few weeks ago anyone remember where that was ?

Marky; If DD were to be a little less pernicious, all would be hunky dory. However, he does love to go diggin'.
