    Delilah...Who Is She/Them????

Was wondering if anyone can give me info on Delilah's 1978 "Dancing In The Fire" LP. I recently got introduced to this by someone and I know it was on ABC records..however I was wondering if it's Don Ray or Cerrone related simply cause of the last track on the LP "Give A Little Love" which is an instrumental that sounds very much like "Cosmic Traveler" on the Sumeria LP. Any production info would be great!

Here's the dirt :) off the album jacket:

First released on Sunshine Records X in 1978. Picked up by ABC.

PRODUCED BY: FRANK COOK/RICH MOYERS for Rock Resources Ltd.
    DISCO MIX CONSULTANT: BILL SANDOR
ARRANGERS: LON NORMAN, FRANK COOK, DAVE ROBERTS
ADDITIONAL LYRICS: DELILAH and FRANK COOK
MUSICIANS: Peter Woodford, Jell Labes, Michael Boddicker, Dennis Parker, Evan Caplan, Paulinho da Costa, Pat Zecare, Jackie Kelso, Ron Starr, Dave Roberts, MNickey McMahoh, Laroon Holt, Dalton Smith, Tony Horowitz
    STRINGS: DON RENALDO STRINGS
BACKGROUND VOCALS: VANEESE THOMAS, CAROLINE MITCHELL

Special thanks to CHARLIE ALLEN of PACIFIC, GAS & ELECTRIC :o for his vocal on "Are You Ready". (I forgot they did this waaay back when.)

There's more here if you really want it. Seems to be a 'Philly' production effort.

BTW Jimmy --- Don't you and I have some 'unfinished business'? :D

Is this the same Delilah who had a disco number in 1978 called "Where Is The Love" and a disco version of "My Guy"? Because I'm wondering if she might be an Aussie or resided in Australia during the 1970s like Marcia Hines because on a 1978 Countdown episode Delilah performed "Where Is The Love" which sadly no longer exists in full but I have a snippet shown on another 1978 Countdown episode I have.
Australia mate! The land of many great funkateers!

FunkyDude: I honestly don't know if this is the same woman. I only have this one lp and that track is not on it. The only thing I remember people playing by Delilah is "Dancing In The Fire".

Jimmy: Check this out: While looking for info on FunkyDude's question I came across the 1979 12" version of "Dancing In The Fire". It's on MCA/Montage, runs 8:30 with the blurb, "Specially re-mixed and edited for disco". No credit for the remixer. I think by the time they released this the song had more than run it's course.

That would be cool to get hold of! But I wonder..if its really remixed or just a reedit. For example..the Costandinos 12'' of "Hunchback" is nothing but a reedit of sections of the entire LP, not mixed any diff and it states its a disco remix..theres several like that out there but that one comes to mind most.
