Hi Spacer,
Here's what I got promotionally for Eastside Connection:
1977: 12" Maxi 45 "You're So Right for Me". Rampart Records --- Side 1 Vocal 6:14; Side 2 Instrumental 6:08. Catalog # 771, product of Gordo Enterprises, Los Angeles, California, 90004. (There is no reference to an lp on the 12")
1978: Again, 12" 45 from Rampart: Side 1: "Birthday Medley" (Happy, Happy Birthday Baby; Silver Threads Among the Gold; Las Mananitas; Happy Birthday to You) - 7:50. Side 2: "Frisco Disco" - 6:50. Catalog # is 781. (No lp listed)
1979: Album issued on Rampart Records titled "Brand Spanking New" - Catalog # 3306.
Side 1 (Heads):
What a Woman Needs (Sweet Sweet Love) 8:43
(Are You) Too Sophisticated 4:50
Over Please 3:43
Side 2 (Tails):
Foot in Action 4:33
Dancin' 4:51
It's Real 3:29
Let's Not Fall Apart 4:15
If you like this group you probably would have loved the vinyl they were pressed on. The two 12"s are sort of 'rainbow bursts' (best description I can think of) of colors, one being predominantly red, the other, blue. The lp is a see-through deep, pale yellow with miriad colors seeming to 'float' in 3D because they're not matched on the two sides. Very, very nice.
Anyway, hope this info is helpful to you. If you need album personnel or anything I can give that to you also.
Love Has No Time or Place
Nicky
