What CD contains the extended mix of You Spin Me Round (Performance Mix) by Dead or Alive? I am looking for the original 10 minute version if available or at least the 7 minute version.

should still be available on youthquake u.k. c.d.[7.25] by the way he comes from my home town though i havnt seen him for 20 years until i saw him on t.v. the other week hes now a woman & he actually looked great !

I know there was a version on Club Epic, Volume 3. It's 8:00 minutes in length according to allmusic.com.

I'm not sure but I think that the Youthquake CD does NOT have it, but the Youthquake cassette tape did. Check it out.

the youthquake c.d. i have has it on but that was the original 85 release that became quite sought after because of that. it was re released and im sure it was on that too as i can remember checking.

Thanks for the reply. I checked at CD NOW and JandR for the Youthquake CD. Their listings only show the 3 minute single version on the CD (The Sony 1990 release).

I have found the 8:00 minute Murder Mix on a 3-CD compilation CD call 'Disco Dance' and I ordered it.

I searched the web and found two other CD's that are supposed to have the Performance Mix. I couldn't find either of them in print. I forgot the name of the first, but the second CD was called 'Hit That Perfect Beat, Vol 2' (released in 1995) but I can't find that CD available anywhere.

Hit That Perfect Beat Vol. 2 does include "You Spin Me 'Round" Performance Mix, but the time is 7:12. Maybe it's been edited.

If you want to try to find this CD, it was released in 1995 on Oglio Records/MCA Special Markets & Products.
