#1 is 'Let's Get Together' by Pam Todd & Love Exchange/Gold Bullion Band.
#2 is 'Main Thing' by Shot, on Easy Street.
#5 is probably 'Let The Music (Move You)' by Raze. I haven't heard it since around '87, so can't confirm.
Hi there, I've got a few house/disco tracks to identify. Sorry, no samples though.
1. The first is a disco track, quite fast with a piano riff. Then the vocal says "let's get together now. Make some love. Make some love." and repeats it over and over.
2. This one has a woman singing:
"I've got a thing. For my baby.
I've got a thing. It makes me wanna sing."
Then the chorus goes: "ring of roses and wine. Together we'll have a real good time"
3. This is a man and a woman (backing) singer:
M:I'm gonna go
F: Are you going to sing a song?
M: I'm gonna go.
F: Are you going ?????
The man sings the verses. One sounds like: "I like listening...to the drum, falling from that sound, when I think of you"
4. This one is more housey, sounds like its from the mid 80s. It has a woman singing. A repeated line with an echo on it sounds like "In the heat and the flash of the moment".
Then the main chorus goes:
"do, do, do what you do for me. I lose control, you take my soul.Say, say say, in the heat and the flash of the moment
5. The last one is 80s sounding jacking house. It starts off with a woman rapping:
"New Jersy, make your body move.
New York make your body move.
Chicago Jack jack the groove. Jack jack the groove."
Later she sings "let the music move you" over and over again. The riff was sampled on an early 90s hardcore tune but the name escapes me.
Thanks for any suggestions
