Jay Thomas WKTU - New York 45m Jul 1 1983. What kind of music was WKTU playing during that time? Disco? Does anyone remember Jay Thomas

Jay Thomas was an actor and a morning show radio host. Before KTU he was with 99X and then went to California for a while from what I recall.
In 1983 KTU was playing some Disco with current dance / club music, but changed to rock the next year and became K-Rock and the home of Howard Stern before he was syndicated nationwide.
