I'd posted this once before, but this is germaine to Marky's Al Parker post. The most flagrant unauthorized use of disco music in a porn film I'd ever seen was in 1980's HER NAME WAS LISA starring Vanessa Del Rio and Samantha Fox (the original Samantha Fox, the hardcore porn star nee' Stasia Micula; not the Page 3 busty blonde bimbo Britbabe-turned-crappy "singer"). The film used Quartz's "Beyond The Clouds", The Gibson Brother's "Cuba", and at least one other well-known track (I can't remember which).

Claudine Beccarie, Sylvia Bourdon, Ajita Wilson and other veterans of the French porn scene were often seen dancing awkwardly on garishly lit floors in their 70's productions, while men wearing pressed suits and lots of jewelry lounged around watching and smoking cigarettes. CHATTES EN CHALEUR was one to use I Feel Love during these scenes. Aristide Massaccesi/Joe D'Amato's mondo epic FOLLIA DI NOTTE had Amanda Lear introducing the segments as a hostess. During on e strip act an interesting variation of Follow Me is heard. This goes on for quite a long time and sounds like the Wally McDonald mix but without Amanda's vocals. Was there ever a soundtrack? During the hi-nrg era a German h/c film BORN TO LOVE actually had a specially scored soundtrack, with Claudia Barry performing the title theme which was realesed to all stores, too.
