In general, The beatmapping in ACID sucks. I learned that by experience as well. I just use my ears now  That seems to work better.
I heard that many dj's in the business use acid pro for there mixing so i persued it. However, I can't figure it out. I am trying to make a dj mix but I can not lock the beats so that they match properly. I tried to use the beatmapper but it apparently does not do the trick. Any suggestions?
Thanks

I don't know that program, but an extremely good mixing experience for old vinyl junkies is Virtual DJ. It's almost as standing behind the good old 1200:s. and the beatmapping works quite well when you use it the right way. There is a trial version on www.virtualdj.com.
I use Ableton live 4
It works quote well. I will publish a review of the program on www.housemusik.dk in a few days. Now Kbee and Noman might be able to read my review since it is in danish, but more importent i will put a 16 min. live DJ MIX up online made in Live 4
I cannot get connected to the website that is suppose to answer the questions to let you navigate thier non-intuitive screen even relative to simple questions. Despite the hyperlink that pops up and offers choices of questions to be answered that came with the DISC which I purchased. Visiting the SONY web site is of no help. ANyone else dealt with this problem and if so, how did you resolve it? I cannot figure out how to get the beatmapper to work and have a hard time fading songs in and out. Thanks. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
