the reason being an old n.b.c t.v contract was auctioned on e.bay last week for $33 and martha claims it contained her signature and social security number, "There was intent to actually destroy me," said Reeves :o

now i dont want to be a party pooper but i saw that, it was one of many similar items in the sale, it looked like a load of old junk to me with the seller claiming they were all bought from an estate [dont they all] the pictures were so bad no details were visible, and anyhow if signatures and social security appear on all contracts over the years thousands of people must have seen em!!
mind you im sorry i didnt buy it she could have flown me in as a witness and put me up in a top beverly hills hotel, i could have lived MARKYDEFADS lifestyle even for just one day, sigh

Stars are right to protect personal information. The world is already dangerous enough with all those linked servers. One could easily abuse it and take over somebody's identity or publish classified personal information.

I joined Ebay to help a friend in Japan bid on something. But I would not be inclined to use it for myself because I don't like the concept of auctions and because they keep sending me emails even thuogh I asked them not to when i joined. Now they have these hypocritical TV commercials about how trustworthy everyone who deals with them is, when we all know some people who use Ebay are ruthless and try to do illegal things. That plus their violating Martha's privacy are why I plan to finally email them and tell them to leave me alone and tell them why. Yeah I know I could find some stuff thru them I could not get any other way, but I can't afford everything anyway, and I prefer set prices.
