Debbie was a GREAT BEAUTY. Nice as they are, there are BETTER pictures than those posted. In her prime, Debbie had a face comparable to Marilyn Monroe's. :D

And that PUNK attitude. The first celeb to flagrantly flaunt her dark roots as a fashion statement. She was tooooo kewl. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

And remains a very good singer. The A&E concert was damn good and the latest CD--"THE CURSE OF BLONDIE"- is a true return to form. Highly recommended..IF ya liked 'em back in the day.

Some here don't seem to have fond memories. :o :o :o

    My fave Debbie Harry quote:

After "Heart of Glass" hit #1 on the Billboard Pop Chart in 1979, it got knocked off the top spot after one week. "Reunited" by the new version of Peaches & Herb did the dirty deed.

Miss Harry told Rolling Stone: "and it ain't even the real Peaches"

    Bitter but FUNNY!!!!

Discoman, Buckarro and Nano: I think Debbie Harry is botoxed today :)
Quinny: "Heart Of Glass" certainly deserves my Top 50 Disco Music Songs, but I also like the rock-funk "Jump Jump" :)
    Rhessel, it's for you :)
