That particular title is unknown to me. However, Sue Ann Carwell released the album "Painkiller" on MCA in 1992. The overall style of that outing was more new jack swing than disco though.
Sorry, but that's all I know about her.
I'm searching for the track "My Baby, My" (at least that's what I think it's called), by Sue Ann Carwell. I've had no luck so far at even finding any proof that this track even exists, no info anywhere. But I know it's out there because I have a mix with the track on it. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Am I searching for the correct artist/title? Is there anywhere in the world I can get the vinyl?

There's a track with that name:

Is this the same Sue Ann, who released a version of "Rock Steady" during 1988?
WOW!! I'm shocked to hear about this LP. She must have been a kid back then in 1981. She doesn't look that old on the "Painkiller" cover and that's 11 years later :lol:Originally Written by __Pulse__
Yes. That should most definitely be it. Thanks for that, Pulse. The album title is "Sue Ann", but noone seems to have it on Gemm, and that's usually my last resort. If anyone could point me to a copy I would so greatly appreciate it, really.

Brian,
If you go back to GEMM and search 'title' or 'artist' "SUE ANN", you'll find your lp. The surname Carwell was not used on her 1981 release for Warner Brothers.
Well that's exactly what I was doing wrong. I kept including the last name in my searches. But I'm happy to say that I was finally able to track down a copy of the album. Thanks everyone for your help. And yes, K-bee, she looks extremely young in the photos on the sleeve.

I bought it when it was still new. It's produced by Pete Bellotte, and has several good tracks, including "My Baby My". It also has a wonderfully funky opening track called "Let Me Let You Rock Me" and a beautiful cover of Ricki Lee Jone's "Company." I like the album and would not sell it, but could possibly trade a home made cassette copy for it.
