I haven't heard it yet. Can you give a little more info about the songs/style?
You better work! :D I always liked her BTW
I just bought RuPaul's new CD "RuPaul RedHot" earlier today and think it is really good. My favorite track is "Looking Good, Feeling Gorgeous". I have always been a fan of Mean Miss Charles, and he is now doing a morning show in NYC on Mix 102.7 in the mornings. I listen to his show in the mornings when I drive to work. As an aside, Mix 102.7 is my favorite radio station and they play a disco show on Saturday evenings, along with Joe Causi's show on Sunday nights (he used to be on WKTU). Disco has returned to NY radio.

I have listened to Ru's new CD about three times now from start to finish. I have read the reviews at amazon.com and I can't disagree with what they have said. The CD is very good, and Ru has shown himself to be very multi-faceted. His Shirley Q. Liquor and Watusi Jenkins skits throughout the album are funny, one of them a paean to his classic "Supermodel (You Better Work)" song. As one reviewer said, he is Lil' Kim, Cher, and Kristine W. thrown into a blender. Ru can be nice and nasty on "Kinky/Freaky" with an awesome rap interplay between Ru and the "other woman". Cuts like "Hollywood U.S.A." and "My Love Sees No Color" are straight out of Cher's "Believe", vocoder voice and all. The last two cuts are ballads, and Ru is effective on both of them. There is also a remake of Depeche Mode's "People Are People". Siedah Garrett does background vocals on the album. The lyrics are smart, funny, provacative and lively. The album artwork is also hot, with a pic of Ru in a tropical setting looking like Mariah Carey and another looking like Cher in a sparkling top and tight jeans. The CD cover almost pays homage to Donna Summer's "Bad Girls" LP cover with Ru in a long black wig sporting a come-hither look, dressed in a sexy black lace top.
