"On the Upside" was by Xena (she was a sleaze singer before she became a warrior princess, I guess). I would guess it was released late '83/early '84.

Tangerine can easily be found on the Salsoul Orchestra's greatest hits 2cd set on the Unidisc label. If it's vinyl you want,Unidisc might provide it but it's easy to find in many flea markets or used record shops.Take a look at Unidisc's web site. Lots of great old dance tunes on new vinyl or cd.

    Hey People:
I appreciate your help thus far, BUT I'm still looking for the Shoop Shoop Shoop BEDE SHOOP Shoop Shoop BEDA"- Song(1978/1979).
Also, If anyone of you remembers "give me your love" by Sylvia Stripling(Fall 1980), please tell where I can find it(CD preferably) and "give me what you can't get/give back"-I think(1983)

Camine gave you the answer on the first page: "Lady America" by Voyage. You must a missed it.

Also, link from this site to CDNow for the "Salsoul Orchestra Anthology" CD. "Tangerine" is the first song.

Based on the genre of the other songs you were looking for..the one "fastlane" could be "love in the fastlane" by Dynasty..my favorite disco group...check into it
