Never heard this before. Very nice track that sounds like Giorgio Moroder meets Kraftwerk. Would like to know who this is by as well.

It doesn't ring a bell. Where did you get that track coz' to me it sounds like a soundtrack for a German or Italian B-movie.

Since the Morodersound was much copied in those ones.

It could very well be. I got the track from another forum which covers a lot of old obscure movie soundtracks. www.cbs.nu <--- great site btw for italo/electro/synth etc.

I know what group you are talking about but I don't think it's them. I have their "Magic Fly" album but it's not on there anyway.

Hey discoduck, have you tried asking at globaldarkness.com or the cybernetic broadcast system forums? Very educated people lurking around there.

    The tracks sounds very familiar..

Weird thing: Everybody loves the sample (also on CBS) but now one knows it.

My feeling tells me it's a score from a movie, early 80's, maybe an Italian/USA production, or something from John Carpenter.

Maybe it's Space, but this sounds like being from 1982-83.

I really don't find it so interesting... so maybe I'm the exception to Pulse's rule.

    Hey Discoduck,

    Mhhh....at first i thought...COOLIO, I KNOW THAT ONE.But when i put the needle on the record,i realized
that it´s not exactly the song you are searching for.The mix and instruments are pretty different.
Anyhow: i found the song i`m talking about on a record called "Yellow power - s/t",and it is called "Tojo".
The record came out 1982 on the german XRecords/Teldec-label,and
on the backside it says "produced by Peter Hauke, words and music by Tony Carey".

    Here´s a short soundclip

    http://home.mnet-online.de/funkygroo...power_tojo.mp3

    My goggling-attempts had no efforts,
i just hope this adds another piece to the puzzle, maybe someone recalls the proper record now.

    All the best from
    Martin

    WOW! :o

It's that one! The one i posted may be a modern remake, since it sounds almost too fresh to be from the 80's.
This definately helped! And I almost like your version better. I will pass your information to other forums and see if we can solve the whole mystery now.
Many people wonders what this is so you are indeed COOLIO! ;)

    Many thanks!
