I posted this before, but never got a response. Figured I try again. From what can recollect, the lyric go something like this:
"I can't wait for Friday night (night, night, night). I can't wait to go and dance. Hey you standing in the corner, c'mon lets get high, and lets get funky. Get funky, get funky. Come on get up and let's get funky. (Sax would break in).

This tune was very mellow. Sung by what sounded like female with male vocals as back up. I caught it back in the early 80's on one of those Saturday Night mastermix type show.
