    Black Skin Blue Eyed Boys

Why don't I see the record Black Skin Blue Eyed Boys by the Equals (45 RPM version) on this site. That song was playes at discotheques all over New York and Jersey during the years 1974 and 1975.
Also missing is the record Sultana by Titanic, Sister James by Nino Tempo, Bananaticoco by Max B, Castles by the Futures, Melting Pot by Booker T and the MGs....
Some real good old CLASSICS are not here.

Please join the thread about the first disco song in this forum. It looks like you could add some input.

I think you'll find a couple of the above mentioned in my post in the First Disco Song thread

I guess one of the problems is we don't discuss the early "disco" tunes pre 1975 as much as we do the later half of the seventies and I would agree with you Joisey that there are a slew of classics from that era.We tend to focus to a greater degree on the 12" format when most of these songs were only available on 7" or LP and never saw a 12" issue.

Bernie your right the place to post these is on the Records forum.I need to get a digital camera or flat bed scanner to scan in the labels. I'll do just that when I get around to cataloguing my 7" records. :P
