    Everyday People

    It's a "re-hash." I heard it in the early 90's. Same as the Sly and the Family Stone piece but with a drivin' bass. I checked Gemms, but there are SO MANY choices...

    Could somebody point me in the right direction?

    Both Arrested Developement and Aretha herself did cover that song in the early 90s. Those are probably some of the more wellknown versions.

    Was it a female vocal? TaMara & The Seen remade this song. I believe it was produced by Jesse Johnson from The Time.
