54 in Belgium

Yesterday I went to the annual BIG "54" party in Antwerp and I can tell you that disco still is going strong here.

There were two live-gigs. One by The Supremes who Motowned us all to a high. Ms. Ross didn't join but you can't have everything in live. And second was a show by Irene Cara.

The grooves were massive, the deco was awesome and the people partied like people should party.

In other words: a great night it was!

So who exactly were impersonating The Supremes???? :o

Was it Mary Wilson and 2 black chicks from Central Casting? (the Street Fair crew) :lol: ...or actual members of one Supremes incarnation or other?

Cindy Birdsong? Jean Terrell? Sherrie Payne? Susaye Greene
Lynda Lawrence? (Susaye & Lynda were the "scabs" who crossed the picket line and tried to replace Mary & Cindy on the ill-fated Miss Ross "Return To Love" tour).

Remember, Flo is dead. That's what I said.
