The song I was trying to think of was actually....

Hypnotize Me by Wang Chung.

I musta sang that tune for several hours last night searching for this...Scritti Politti did a "Hypnotize" also, ...but I think your sample was from the Wang Chung song. But now since the sample isn't there anymore, I can't be sure.
