OK, I just pulled out & listened to Loleatta's 12" and those don't seem to be the "exact lyrics" but SO DAMN CLOSE!!!!!! Plagiarism charges should be filed--but then I don't know who's song came first!
One other thing: listen to Loleatta's "Laugh"--the "ha ha ha ha ha" thing she puts on so the people can't see she's "dancing to keep from crying"; Is this what Jennifer Holliday used to inpire her little "ha ha ha ha" in "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going" from "Dreamgirls"? I'm Just Askin!!!!!!
