Ipanema Boys - Rio De Janeiro....

Just got back from spinning in Valencia at the weekend. I picked up a few records from second hand shops, one of which was a 7" version of the Salsoul classic "Rio de Janeiro" by the Ipanema Boys! This is a Patrick Adams production from 1978 which is split into part one (vocal) and part two. (instumental with chorus vocals)
The question is, does any one know if this exists on a American pressing? (possibly a New York label)
The single has been cut, so if there is a U.S. pressing it may be a full 12" version instead of the chopped Parts 1 & 2 on the 7"!!!
By the way, it's a great version....

Seems a few people have had a look at this topic, but no one has any info if this ever got a USA release!
Bernie & Nicky, do you know anything about this record?
