SENHORES DO GROOVE - BRAZIL
Sirius:
Wow, some great stuff here. 'Down to love town' is one my favorite disco classics. However, you have two tracks listed here I don't have and haven't heard in years.
'Funk Machine' - I have great memories of this song and have long looked for it at record conventions, but have yet to find it. TK was a great label.
As for 'The Great Disco Bouzouki Band', believe it or not, I owned this record and gave it away years ago. Now that you mentioned it I wish I had it. Great list.
Easy,
Sam "ALL JAM"
Thanks Sirius for your playlists...they are a great inspiration for me!!!
Sirius,
If you like Samba Soul then check out there other single, "I'm In You" on RCA.

SAMBA SOUL Track...I will look for this
song...
Cosmic Love & Kisses From SIRIUS & DARKTUNES
Hi SIRIUS,
you 've mentioned SAMBA SOUL. I have the 12 that contains MAMBO Nº 5 and I have an LP by this group. Reading the credits of the album, I think the group is formed by brazilian musicians and north american vocalists. For me, their best moment is DANCIN' DAYS, a classic brazilian disco song originally released by a group called AS FRENÉTICAS. SAMBA SOUL recorded DANCIN' DAYS in English and they did a fine job. I've played DANCIN' DAYS by SAMBA SOUL once or twice at parties here in Brasil and people like it a lot.
If you want any info about brazilian music, send me a post.
Peace,
zeca azevedo
