I found a DVD called :"Disco Inferno, 21 original television recording" from Classic Pictures. It's available on Amazon. The television recording are from a german show, the DVD contains recording from : Alicia Bridges, Donna Summer, Baccara, Lipps Inc, Chic, Vilage People, and many others. the default on this DVD is the cut of some songs ( "Funky Town" or "Going back to my roots" for instance ).

A few years ago ARD-Germany had a disconight on new yearseve which was simply the best television-show I saw in years :D so I think that the DVD is that program.
They showed well-known stuff but also clips from Caro and more underground-disco.
German television was very discominded in the 70's with shows like Musikladen and Disco with Ilya Richter
Many artists performed live and so ARD has a pretty good vault of disco-footage. Since Belgian radiostations at that time only played the bestsellers, I discovered many new stuff while watching those shows. Holland had the Rock Planet Disco presented by Ferry Maat, who also had THE discoshow on radio Ferry Maat's Soulshow and later on there was a program called Disco Circus with artists performing live in a big Circus. I wonder if those tapes still exist?
