Ableton live

I just got hooked on live 4 and was wondering if anybody else is using it for DJing ?

Preparing (warping) the tracks is a pain....considering i got 1000 tracks waiting to be beat warped.
Do have any tips or tricks i should know ? A little help would be appriciated :)

well, although Ableton is a fun program, its timestretching is pretty crap. If you have access to a protools setup, and a plug-in called "pitch and time" you can cut up the Wav file, every beat, every measure or every bar (depends on how precise you want to be), sequence it in protools and timestretch it. Then youll have the original song, 100% beat-mapped with none of those horrible artifacts that ableton has and ready to dj in Traktor. Downside is that its pretty time consuming but the results are worth it.
