Bryan: 2 hours is way too long pal. Who's got that much time listen (there's no way of fast forwarding, eh)?
Just a thought.
Hey all,
Thanks to all of you who participated in my last quiz (of course it's merely a discrete & fun way of exhibiting me on the world disco dj stage!)
Here's another tracklist challenge for all you disco/boogie freaks - this one shouldn't be too hard - but it is 2HRS long - and I've slipped in maybe one or two tricky ones - but most should be relatively easy to pick... ;-)

So listen away already! - The asf file should stream straight to your computer, so long as Windows Media Player is your DEFAULT player for asf files. If not, the stream will likely not start.
The mix starts with a bit of boogie/funk and gradually heads up to orchestral disco - complete with a touch of jazz in between... oh and please forgive me for the odd beat-slip-up, as much as i love mixing these old tracks, those drummers still keep me on my toes and trick me! ;-) anyway, best part is this mix is all real - 2 decks a mixer and no tricks!
Cheers

heheh actually i thought it was somewhat underdone considering we had a 5 hour post here not that long ago ;-)
of course you can fast forward - asf files just like ram files stream instantly whilst saving as cache in the background, so you can forward through the file as far as it's been cached. (ie: locally downloaded for playing back the stream)
if you're on a broadband connection, that wont be too hard - but if you're on dialup, then i suppose the only option is to simply enjoy listening whilst you do other stuff and not necessarilly participate in the quiz. :-)
Bryan: That 5 hour clip was more like 14 hours I thought. I listened to about half an hour and got bored.
Is there no way of giving each track a start ID?
All right !
First of all, two hours does seem pretty long......
