What disco song used the vocoder through electric guitar, the same way Peter Frampton did with his famous hit "Do you feel like I do".

    It is from 1979

Can't say I know the answer to the question (though "Funkytown" seems like one possibility), but it was Peter Frampton who sang "Do You Feel Like WE Do."

Is there anyone who didn't have the Frampton Comes Alive LP way back when?!

If was Peter Frampton the instrument was a Talk box not Vocoder. It's not the same thing. That's why I ask about it.

Funkytown, like hundreds of other disco tracks uses the vocoder, but not combined with the electric guitar.

Thanks for the info about Talk Box

    Anyone ?

The other disco song that comes in mind that uses the talkbox:
Disco circus - In a gadda da vida (Garden of eden)

Speaking of "Gadda da vida", I personally prefer Boney M's own extended version.

    Honorable mention:

    Tell Everybody - Herbie Hancock

This song was a sign of the times in 1977.

    A Jazzyfunkentonianpercussivesynthesation that ended horny.

    I loved that song!

Put your feet to the beat - The Ritchie Family was nine minutes plus that left me as a tease. I wish the percussion breakdown was longer. Nevertheless, I liked that song.
