My girlfriend and I were given tickets to the performance in Washington DC earlier this year and I must say it was silly. Some of the cast members couldn't even sing well! Overall, it was just an excuse to get out of the house.
Is this play worth seeing?

It is wonderful! Worth seeing again and again...
Bjorn Ulvaeus attended opening night in San Francisco.
Just read an interview with the boys from Abba and they said that they have earned more money with the musical than with the Abba-songs. Since 1999 allready 18 million people have visited the musical and now the show is going to the Far East.
18 million? Mamma mia, è grandissimo!
If I had time and a date I would see it. I don't care if someone hits a bum note. The energy!
There now are plans to make a movie of this musical. Names that were contacted are: Nicole Kidman, Kira Knightley and Antonio Banderas.
Now Kidman was allready huge in "Moulin Rouge" (hey, I'm rappin') and Banderas was the star of "Evita".
Wait and see.
