Was reading some older posts and noticed one on this song.
One of the most interesting misfires of the 1980s, and one of the better undiscovered SAW tunes out there (calling all A&R hacks looking for a quick buck cover - this tune is it!), I actually dug it out and listened to it tonight, and damn, it works. June Montana's voice, Jimi Cauty's guitar work, the presence of Youth.........an absolute treat to the uninitiated, and a good defense of SAW as not being entirely loathsome.
Your thoughts?

The 12" version of "Love Is War" is probably my fav S.A.W. produced track ever, much in the same style as the stuff they did with princess and O'chi Brown.
Brilliant also released an LP but I really advice everybody to stay away from it. It really is nothing but generic pop stuff and not even close to the sheer "Brilliant" ( ) of the 12" mix of "Love Is War".
