Which movie would you like to see remade

I'd like to see a remake of "Rosemary's Baby"

I'm thinking either Gwenyth Paltrow or Jennifer Aniston as Rosemary. Preferably Gwenyth.

Not sure who would play Guy Woodhouse. Perhaps George Clooney but he might be too pretty.

The Ruth Gordon/Minnie role I have no idea who would play her.

    Chocolate mousse anyone?

Shaft. I know they just redid it but they didn't
I would cast Wesley Snipes as Shaft. This time Sam Jackson can direct the movie. Cast of babes include Vivica A. Fox, Indira Varma, Salma Hayek, and Nicole Parker.
    Talk about blockbuster. :D

First of all-I want a new Disco-movie! I heard rumours of Grease 3 that would be covering the disco-era??

A remake of Thank God it's friday coz' the original was not that good  and I can't find it on DVD. Keep the excellent soundtrack but include a full-length erotic sequence of "Je t'aime, moi non plus" and most of all write a Script for it.
Halle just has to star in it.

And finally 2 fast 2 furious, forget the recent one and make another with Mr Diesel! And when all these are ready, yes, a new (but real) Shaft will do the trick with Richard Roundtree, damned, the only real one! He's not that old!

Well, it's been done in 1991 by Michele Soavi, and it's great. The film is called LA SETTA, out now on dvd as THE SECT.

Michele Soavi is a former protege of former horror maestro Dario Argento. Soavi got an enthusiastic response for his directorial debut AQUARIUS/STAGEFRIGHT, worked as an assistant director for Terry Gilliam's Baron Munchausen film, improved still with LA CHIESA/THE CHURCH, got wonderful reviews for LA SETTA and finally became the new maestro of Italian genre cinema with DELLAMORTE DELLAMORE/GRAVEYARD MAN, starring Rupert Everett and based on the hugely popular comic strip Dylan Dog. Unfortunately due to health problems of his son he hasn't directed a feature film since the mid 90's.

THE SECT has Kelly-sister of Jamie-Curtis becoming pregnant with the Antichrist. The basic plot premise is Rosemary's Baby but the style is totally different. There are references to The Wicker Man especially, with detailed descriptions of preparations leading to strange rituals. The film starts with two strong setpieces, then slows down to allow the mood to build up. Then bloodfreezing shocks and a jolting climax. The camerawork is stunning, the sets imaginative, the performances impeccable and the gore strong. In other words, the perfect arthouse horror film.
Now that Argento has finally hit rock bottom with the awful, lame and bloodless Cardplayer we need Soavi back behind the camera, instantly right away!

Yeah 54 being remade could be something good, I like the movie but I admit it's not 100% good...If they did a remake I would suggest they portray more 54 VIPs and add a better story.

    Voyage :P

...most remakes suck. Did anybody see the original version of the Manchurian Candidate? Who is the idiot who thought they could best that early 60s classic with Frank Sinatra and Lawrence Harvey?
-I like calling a spade a spade, and nothing else. The hell with Politically Corretness and all that bull.
