What the best Ottawan song? I love "Hands up" but is it too commercial? D.I.S.C.O still feels very underground to me because I remember Macusso playing at the Loft and sweating on the floor right until the last seconds of the song (which he normally followed with the live version of "Land of make believe") - those were the days!!!

In commercial clubs, dancers drew the letters in air. The tune is still in heavy rotation in the mor radio across the continent, especially here up north.

Yeah, Ottawan's "D.I.S.C.O." sets a standard for insipid disco, doesn't it? Really lowers the bar to--how low can you go territory????

they recently performed at a retro-disco show in Russia, and people there still love it. Fantastic show, living here in US it makes me jealous :icon_biggrin:

I do know for a fact that the chances of "D.I.S.C.O." being played at a future RTP as are as good as it having been heard at a Loft party!
