I guess this is almost as bad as touring state fairs
PS Hope you get better.
Just back from a concert in Hasselt-Belgium where there were lots of artists performing at Rimpelrock. This is a special free event for the elderly.
Why was I there? Well, firstly because I have a broken foot so I'm not the most sportive man nowadays, but....there was a long performance by The Gibson Brothers.
Yep, they're still touring and did most of their known discoclassics mixed with more carribean stuff.
Though the elderly (even 70-80 yrs old) weren't exactly partying, I saw that they had fun.
Great afternoon :D

Mmmmh-no, not really. It's a well known event and it's well organised and it attracts a big crowd (45.000). The only difference is that people or not standing up but have seats. The artists or more Las Vegas-style so I was very surprised when I saw that the Gibsons were booked.
But we have many events where "older" acts are booked and they have an incredible succes so I think Belgians are very nostalgic people. But we also have Lasgo,Milk Inc (who are living in my hometown), Sylver, Leki (watch that girl coz' she's the sister from Manuela Kamosi from Technotronic), Zap Mama, Soulwax aka 2many DJ's, Glimmer Twins, Lara Fabian, Axelle Red, Lords of Acid, Praga Khan, Millionnaire and many others so old and future stuff go hand in hand here :D
(Thx for the health-wishes)
