George Reginald Williams Jnr was the lead vocalist of the fabulous soul group THE TYMES. Don't you remember them? They recorded YOU LITTLE TRUSTMAKER, MS. GRACE [I love this record] and the wonderful slice of philly groove GOD'S GONNA PUNISH YOU. His voice was beautiful and mellow and he deserves to be remembered by all soul and disco fans.
He died on july, 28, from cancer.

That's sad. I honestly didn't recognize the name. For me, the highlight of the recent Troc Party Reunion was Robbie Leslie's spinning "You Little Trustmaker". Such brilliant melodic innocence. They can't make em like that anymore. :cry:
