    very hard rare disco song ID: lyrics "and when the musi

    Hi guys,
    this is a tough one. Heard this amazing song on the radio one day...
    Voice sounded like Dan Hartman, production sounds like "Elton John - Are You Ready...", from 1978 or 79 i assume. The lyrics went something like "...cause when the music..." /.../ "and makes me sway"...

    I'm probably wrong but try "Sway" by Mighty Pope, 12", 1979, Warner Bros/RFC Records. It might be it though for some reason the song always reminded me of "Rock Your Baby" by George McCrae. Not that they sound alike, just the lead singer's vocal attack.

    Might I suggest 60s teen pop star Bobby Rydell's disco effort--"Sway"? It's a fave of Jussi's.
