Where was this photo taken ?

Hi, I just got delivery of my CD -Disco Gold vOL. 2
There is a photo on the front showing two turntables in a 'disco' ?
Does anyone know FOR SURE where this pic. was taken ?

I don't know exactly, as you know the location is not mentioned on the cd cover, but the TT are second generation SL 1200, they were quickly replaced by the MK II line in '78, they are also using what appears to be early Stanton 500 DJ carts also later replaced with the better quality and popular 680 SL line.

I pulled out the album thinking they might have given credit. No such luck.

This is a wild, wild guess and maybe sfbeary can help me. I used to go to a club called "Hollywood", located in the mid 40s in Manhattan. Richie Kaczor was the dj. The club was low-ceiling (by loft standards), heavily lighted (never as dark as this picture) with mirror balls, and Richie had his turntables brightly lit and on CHAINS, just like in this pic. Honestly though, this could be any of a thousand places. :roll:

I have been told by Lyn at West End Records that the club featured is............
Flamingo

Any comments from anyone ? as I never got to see it in action.
