That'll be Madhouse. Great LP covers...
Can anyone help me remember a group that was on Paisley Park records....songs were mostly instrumental, and I think the songs (or album) names were usually numerical (8, 9, 10, etc)....One of the songs had a line from "The Godfather" at the beginning about "bada bing, you splatter his brains all over his nice suit" or something like that....The girl on all the covers was smoking hot as well...
Any help would be greatly appreciated....

What would you do without your muesli...where would you be without a bowl?
Yep that's Madhouse (not 2 be confused with the Dutch group). It was mainly Prince, Levi Seacer Jr. and Eric Leeds.
They made 2 albums and the style was continued on Eric Leeds' solo-album "Times Squared". There also is a song by them on the Prince-album "1-800-New Funk" and if you like all this, you must check out the recent Prince-album "N.E.W.S.".
They were also his support act ont the Sign-o-the-times-tour.
Great band-great music. The Godfather-stuff is on their second album "16".
Wow!! Madhouse!! I totally forgot about that group - truly great stuff!!
Eric Leeds did some stuff in the 90s too but it was more in the smooth jazz kinda vain.
