    Catwoman fell off the roof?

So the so-hailed Catwoman movie ended third on its first weekend with a poor US$ 16,5 million in the US (it costed US$ 100 million, they say). Can we say Halle's catsuit is all meow and no scratch? :)
Did anyone see the movie yet? What do you say of La Belle Halle's performance? Of course I mean quantity of full body shots, love scenes, etc.
Halle, you're a beautiful cat, come to Buenos Aires and I promise to give you all the milk you want

(seems that I woke up in full mode today)

What is the big deal about this lady? There are tons of sexier ladies out on the streets. Besides, after her hit and run incident of a few years ago, I can't respect her. I wonder if others feel this way and that is why Cat Woman hasn't done well?

The movie I want to see is the Bourne Supremacy. Missed it this weekend.

My partner gave up on her last year just like you, Bernie. He thought that hit and run bit was disgusting. All during the promotion period of this movie he kept saying is she supposed to be a superhero or a supermodel? :x

I'm with you, Bourne Supremacy is on my list this week.

"Catwoman" is going straight to the Litterbox. Miss Berry needs better guidance in choosing her films. Supposedly, the script for this one was non-existent. Just a music video--stylish but empty, totally devoid of anything to hold your interest except Miss Berry's lovely face & shapely body.

Well, George Michael wouldn't know a beautiful woman if it hit him between the legs.

Oh no NOT Halle Berry bashing!!!!!   She's extraordinary. What more is there to say? I've met Miss Berry. I've been kissed by Miss Berry. If I could switch teams, it would be for Miss Berry--but she can do much better than me.

That's what I'd expect from you Blanche, the upstanding citizen that you are! I wonder if George Michael's ultimate fantasy is Halle Berry in a police uniform!?

Halle Berry is super but this movie ain't.

This is not a superhero-comic movie but a standard Hollywood videoclip.

Where's the atmosphere from the first Batman-episodes? So Burton, so bizarre.

What we have here is a superhero dropped in an environment where superheroes don't fit.

I don't like Superman, I don't like Spiderman but I'm crazy 'bout Batman and his friends. But this one simply doesn't work.

I'm very curious what Batman Begins will be like.

What are they doin' in Tinseltown? What's next?

    "Godfathers In Space" ??? :o

(And leave poor George in peace! The guy is cool :D )

Kinda wonder what goes on in La Halle's head....the skinny is that she wants out of the money-making cash cow X-MEN series because she's not the focal point. She then decides to star in this piece of cinematic drek that may become the SHOWGIRLS of the superhero genre.

Soon enough, this film will join the ranks of CAPTAIN AMERICA, THE FANTASTIC FOUR (AAAUUUGHHH!), the JLA telemovie and all the others as an example of how not to make a superhero film.

Nano, I think she is a very attractive woman, but more importantly I think she's a pretty good actress. I just don't get how she got herself wrangled into this ill-conceived (and out of comic-continuity) mess.
Actually, the person who seems to be getting the worst of it is Sharon "I'm The Next Grace Kelly, DAMMIT!" Stone. Over 40, moderately talented, and fucking weird is not the best resume for an actress in LaLa.

    Ah Boodi,

The grandly pretentious Sharon Stone is my new fave Hollywood diva to laugh at. Amy Poehler on SNL did a great spoof of her presenting the Golden Globe to Michael Douglas--standing on stage, laughing to herself, in love with her own fabulousness. Then Kathy Griffin told her story about Miss Stone oral-interping John Lennon's "Imagine" at the AMFAR benefit in Kathy's NOT-To Be MISSED "The D List" special. The funniest thing all year. I've watched it at least 6 times.

Sharon is now Faye Dunaway scary. :P

Prince Marky, people are now realizing that Empress Sharon is a souflee' of egomania and lunacy, but I know that the people in the industry have known about her beeyotchiness for years. THAT really makes her the new Faye Ishouldbe Dunawaywith.
There is that wonderful story (possibly apocryphal) that the crew on that Quartermaine film was so "enamored" of Ms. Stoneass that they ummmmm.....relieved themselves in the tub/large pot that the Empress was supposed to bathe in for a scene in the film.

Well, Sharon was very good in "Casino". And she's a beautiful woman with character

But the mother of all Catwomen is still La Pfeiffer. She was cool :)

Well, I would talk about acting quality but you guys make it tougher mentioning two old faves of this Latino fella. Sharon Stone was in the Eighties and well into the Nineties, like, the prettiest girl of Hollywood. I remember seeing that Salomon movie Boodi mentioned and totally ogle her beauty. Same thing when Michelle appeared in Robert Loggia's house in Scarface. She was just too cute to be believed.
Of course, la Pfeiffer is by far the best actress of this trio; Stone needs to have a strong director behind her (be it nasty Verhoeven of street-wise Scorsese), and beauty Halle seems also to depend on the strength of scripts and crew. But any of the three are stunning of were stunning in their prime.
Now remember I was a 18 years old when I saw Scarface or Salomon's Mines. Hormones were in full rage. Another one I remember looking at with mouth open during the entire movie was Nastassja Kinski (another good actress) in Cat People (the Paul Schrader remake). Remember when the first, mythical-all-red scene makes a soft transition from the eyes of the panther-woman to those of Nastassja in the airport? And then the camera walks back and Nastassja's face is in close up? I remember half the theater whispering "wow!" just looking at something so adorable. :o
Well, it seems cat women are really my obsession! At least to looking at.

As a gay man I always thought Sharon Stone was an attractive woman but I recently saw her interviewed on TV by Graham Norton in New York & she seemed to be very high on something & came over as a total basket-case, but I s'pose gay men are usually attracted to mad women (Joan Crawford, Marlene Dietrich, Diana Ross  ) so it all makes sense really. :-?

I haven't seen the movie but I think Halle is a pretty good actress and one of today's sexiest women in the world.

Sharon Stone, now she's pretty and sexy, but she being the next Grace Kelly, that's funny hahaha Not even her daughters and grandaughter have the beauty she had.

Michelle Pfieffer...>:-) hehehe Simply purrrrfect hahahah

Anyone here thinks Carole Bouquet is belle? I do :)

BTW Eric Bana will be the new 007...
