Sampled bridge from a great 70's disco-funk instrumental

    Hi

Can anyone help me out? I'm trying to identify the original song that Biggie Smalls sampled the bridge from for that song of his with the chorus 'Biggie, Biggie, Biggie can't you see, sometimes your <something or other> just hypnotise me'.
Sorry I don't know the name of the Biggie Smalls song. If it's any help the British boyband 'Blue' used the same sample for the bridge in their song 'Flyby'.

    Thanks

    Dan

If you're referring to the music sample, it's 'Rise' by Herb Alpert. If you mean the vocal hook on the 'Hypnotize' chorus, I think it was popularised by Doug E. Fresh on 'La-Di-Da-Di', from the middle '80s.
