Sure it's not Shalamar - TAKE THAT TO THE BANK (1978)?
female chorus of take that to the bank with mainly male lead vocals. Yes, it is very infectious.
Very late disco track, possibly early 80's. Chorus of women singing "We're in the bank" over and over again, sometimes with no music, sometimes with a male vocal singing over the top. Very Infectious!!!

I "knew" someone would suggest that!
No, it isn't "Take that to the bank" by Shalamar, although it is very similar. The track I am thinking of is slower tempo and the girls go "We're in the bank" with the "We're" being of a higher octave and stretched out either up or down the spectrum, ie:
WEEEEeeeeee're in the bank
WEEEEeeeeee're in the bank
weeeeEEEEEEE'RE in the bank
weeeeEEEEEEE'RE in the bank
And the above four repeated over and over again.
Sorreeeeeeeeeee! some posters know a lot of tracks, others know zilch. Also some are not native English speakers and others remember the most bizarre interpretations of lyrics, sooooooooooo.
Any other lyrics?
This is annoying because the only other song I can think of is "Straight To The Bank" by Bill Summers and Summers Heat. Also 1978 on the Prestige label. A hot bit of jazz-funk-disco but the lyrics don't match yours. The chorus is LET'S GO STRAIGHT TO THE BANK with the background girls giving their tribute to Michael Zager.
