"Remember The Party - Encore" is now formally announced for Sunday, October 3, 2004 at the Glas Kat Club (formerly the Trocadero Transfer)!!! Robbie Leslie will be spinning his magic again from 6 pm to 2:30 am. That's the same day as the Castro Street Fair so I recommend planning your visit with that in mind.

I would be nice to make it this time :lol: . For now I have to settle for listening to the recordings of the first gig. If I play it loud enough and close my eyes, I am virtually there. I almost convinced my bride to go last time, guess I will have to kiss her a$$ a bit more :roll: .

Maybe this info will help - SF's weather is known to be nice during October - our Indian Summer. Marky and Jeff will tell you all about the heat spell we had when they visited two years ago - temps were in the 90s!!! Way too high for a native San Franciscan used to the fog, wind & cool mid 60s temps! :o However, for everyone else used to normal summers, I've been told the weather is quite nice.
Also, the Monticello Inn is offering a reduced hotel rate again. I believe it's $109.00 per night this time. The price went up a little from the last party. The crowd at the last Party was a very nice mixture of gay and straight (although it leaned more toward a gay crowd). Everyone was there to simply "Remember the Party!" No bad attitudes!!
Also, Discovery is correct! I'm thrilled that one of our Forum members from Ireland is planning to attend RTP Encore! :D

Just found out another person from abroad is flying in for this evening of classic disco! This time somebody from Scotland!! Anybody from England flying in for this tea dance after the Castro Street Fair (just like back in the early 80s)??? FYI, one of the producers is from there.

www.remembertheparty.com website. Don't forget, San Francisco's Folsom Street Fair is one week earlier on Sept. 26, 2004. Some people stay in SF for both events, so hotels may book up fast, especially the more reasonably priced ones in the City (yes, there really are a few! :D ). So, you may want to book early.
