    Download: MJ' s THRILLER outakkes, demos (1982) and more...

    Ok to begin with i'm not sure to post in the right section :oops:

    The sound quality of these songs is not at the top because the source is an old audio tape.

    Yesterday some members asked me to uplaode theses unreleased songs because they were very intrested so i do!

    To start here are 4 songs among the 800 songs recorded for "Thriller" which comes from the thriller session of 1981-82:

    "Hot Street" ( the best one for me!): this song written by MJ has never been released because Quincy jones and MJ had to make a choice between "Pretty Young Things" and "Hot Street".

    "Carousel": this song is another outakes available on the "Thriller remastered special edition" but here is the full uncut version of 3min 57.

    "Trouble": very nice song!

    "Night Line" : this song was originaly destined for MJ but Quncy and Mj finaly refused it for the final track selection. But if you like this song there is a good offiicialy version by The Pointer Sister!

    Ok that's all for today! Next week i'll put on line 2 demos from the "thriller" album and also unreleased songs from the "Victory" Lp (1984)

    i'm waiting for your opinion about those songs!
    if someone want the lyrics of the song ask me!

    ps: sorry for my poor english i'm French :lol:

    Have a good day BobbyNunn from France.

    "Hot Street" is indeed good.

    Do you know anything about the following songs which Michael recorded during the "Off the Wall" sessions (December 4, 1978 thru June 3, 1979)? Are any of them disco?

    * Going To Rio
    * Iowa
    * Kentucky
    * Sunset Driver
    * Thank You For Life
    * What Lonely Way To Go

    It's a pity that 'Thriller' was released before the 'CD age' as those other tracks could've been kept on due to the longer playing time of CDs. Do you know if 'Hot Street' is a Rod Temperton song as it reminds me of some of his other stuff like Brother Johnsons' 'Light Up The Night' & Patti Austin's 'Do You Love Me'? I do know that Michael Sembello wrote 'Carousel'; I bet he was gutted that it missed being included on the best-selling LP of all-time but the next year he did go on to write stuff for the 'Flashdance' soundtrack so I s'pose that made up for it!

    "thriller" incredible more than 60 millions sold around the world...

    when you think that there are more than 800 outtakes for "thriller" it gives me wanna cry because mj is a perfectionnist and when some songs are not include to the album it doesn't mean there are bad songs it mean there are not "commercial" enough but for us funk disco lovers these songs are jewels, treasures!!!

    next week outtakes from the "victory" album : the original version of "state of shockk" with freddy mercury and another duet with f.mercury "theremust be more to life than this"
    the home demo of " wanna be startin somethin' (1981) and the full uncutt demo of " billie jean" (1981)

    Yes, but I really don't think those songs are as special as "Rock With You", "Billie Jean", "Hot Street", and "I Can't Help It". I had never heard of "Hot Street" before you mentioned it, so thank you.

    i can't wait the next week lol so here are demo from the thriller session and the live exellent quality audio of the performance of the jacksons and the billi jean" solo at the MOTOWN 25 " yesterday today fover" 1983. this audio performance is ripped from my U.S Laser disc.

    To begin with the home demo of "wanna ve startin' somethin" recorded in 1981. It's verry funny because Mj makes some weird noises and his voice is also weird lol but it's cool.

    "medley i want you back/the love you save/never can say goodbye/i'll be there + "billie jean"" Motown 25:(very good sound quality)
