As quizzes seem popular at the moment, I thought I might have a go.

Can you guess these two tunes from two well-known Disco Divas from the ENDINGS?

#1 Right at the end, you can hear a guy say in the background "Shall we do the album version now?"

#2 At the end of this one, you can hear a dog howling .... "O-o-o-w-w-w-w-w!!!"

Yeah, I'm not def (but I'm stupid). I know it was a Norman Harris wisecrack.

Jazz was right. What a song, what a guitar work, and what a joke, after ten minute record session he wants more???

That wasn't the answer I was thinking of!

    Another clue:

Just before the fade-out, the Disco Diva in questions says "And You Can Take This Dog Wit' You!" - the dog goes "O-O-O-O-W-W-W-W!!!!" - and the track fades out .....

Oh man, I know that I know this one. Is it Linda Clifford 's "Runaway Love?"

Oh, that's it Bernie. Ms Clifford does trash the dog, but I don't recall the dog howling. Maybe that was Denyse LePage singing backup vocals?

If that were the case, wouldn't it sound more like a cat being electrocuted?

Yes, Bernie, right again!! It was Linda Clifford and "Runaway Love". I guess the second clue gave it away ... Go to the top of the class!!!

Not only does she throw the poor guy out, BUT THE DOG GOES AS WELL!!!

And if you listen carefully, you CAN hear the dog howling.

By the way, what a great album that comes from !!!!

And, you wouldn't believe it, but I have a record that ends with a load of cats MIAOWING !!!:P

It's a SKA record - Roland Alfonso (I think) from an LP called "Sir Coxone Selects .." - and the track is called "El Pussy Cat"!!
